SHOOTING INCIDENT On August 3, 2016 at about 8:30 PM, a shooting incident has transpired along national highway of Purok Malipayun, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Wherein the victim identified as Reynaldo OriolaPasaporte, 49 years old, married under drugs watch list of Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, as pusher, a resident of Poblacion Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay, a member of Civilian Auxiliary Active (CAA). initial investigation disclosed that the victim was drinking coffee at a store, the suspect suddenly appeared from the direction of Universidad de Zamboanga (UZ Ipil) without any apparent reason shot the victim and left the place on board on a Honda XRM, color blue, without attached plate number as getaway vehicle. The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his head and immediately brought to Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital for medical treatment. However, he was declared dead by his attending physician at about 9:15 pm of same date. Recovered from the crime scene were five (5) pieces of empty shells of caliber 5.56 rifle. Further, at Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Hospital the following items recovered from the victim to wit: one (1) medium sachet of suspected shabu, one (1) pair of scissors, one (1) lighter color green, one (1) piece color black wallet, four (4) pieces of identification cards, cash money amounting to seven hundred and ninety pesos (₱790.00), one (1) unit nokia cellphone color yellow green, one (1) unit charger, one (1) piece of bamboo stick and one (1) piece of head and shoulder shampoo. Ipil MPS are now conducting follow-up investigation for the possible arrest and identity of the suspect.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT On August 3, 2016 at about 1:00 PM, Hon. Francisco Dullesco, Barangay Chairman of Nazareth, Kabasalan, reported to Kabasalan MPS thru cell phone call that a vehicular accident was transpired along the national highway of Barangay Nazareth, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Upon receipt of the report, elements of Kabasalan MPS led by SPO2 Rex Chrisler E Subibi proceeded to the aforementioned place of incident. initial investigation disclosed that one (1) skygo motorcycle bearing plate number WZ6502, registered under the name of brianbatolino, of Barangay Poblacion, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugayand driven by Ernando Mercado Joaquin Jr., 43 years old, married, a resident of Barangay Paradise, Diplahan, together with his back-rider Raul Joaquin Alivar, 49 years old, single a resident of Logpond, Siay, all of Zamboanga Sibugaywas travelling from the municipality of Siay bound to Ipil, and upon reaching at the above-mentioned place, the driver overtook another vehicle without noticing the incoming Isuzu ten (10) wheeler truck aluminum wing van, with plate number kwa324, registered under the name of LemarCadungogof Barangay Sta. Cruz, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, driven by JeojenesAgotAlo, 41 years old married a resident of Barangay Bintana, Tangub City, who was travelling on the opposite direction causing both vehicles to accidentally met into contact. as a result thereof, the driver and back rider of the Skygo motorcycle sustained serious physical injuries and were immediately brought to Kabasalan pathfinder hospital located at Barangay Goodyear, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugayfor immediate medical attention. Further, after examination conducted by the attending physician thereat, the motorcycle driver was found to be under the influence of liquor. Both Vehicles were brought to KabasalanMPS for proper disposition.

HACKING AND SHOOTING INCIDENT At about 10:00AM of August 2, 2016, certain Gilbert Maningo, 38 years old, married and Alvin Maningo, 25 years old, married, both residents of SitioBitoon, BrgyBalas, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte came to Labason MPS and voluntarily surrendered for they were suspects of hacking and shooting the victims Bernardo Deniega, 22 years old, married and Bernie Deniega, 45 years old, married, and both residents of SitioBitoon, BrgyBalas, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.At about 10:30AM of same date, PNP elements of Labason MPS led by SPO2 Elizier D Tampipi together with PO3 Andie B Laurencio, PO3 Paul Antonie G Deiparine, PO3 Reynaldo Reluya and PO2 Garry V Burdago proceeded to the place of incident purposely to verify the veracity of the report and upon the arrival of the responding team, the two dead bodies of the victims were lying on the ground with blood.Initial investigation conducted disclose that at about 9:00AM of same date, while suspect Gilbert Maningo was on his way home, the victim Bernardo Deniega blocked the suspect’s way and they were having heated argument regarding on their previous family trouble. Victim Bernardo Deniega then withdrew his side arm pistol on his waist but suspect Gilbert Maningo drew his bolo first from his waist and hacked the said victim hitting on his left neck resulted to the victim’s instant death. When the victim Bernie Deniega (Father) saw his son lying on the ground with blood, he immediately drew his side arm pistol from his waist and shot suspect Gilbert Maningo but luckily did not hit. When suspect Alvin Maningo heard a fire from a pistol, he immediately respond and saw Bernie Deniega pointed the pistol towards his brother (Gilbert) and without any provocation suspect Alvin drew his caliber 45 pistol and shot the victim (Bernie) hitting on his chest, head and left legs resulted to the death of victim Bernie. Recovered from the crime scene were two pistols: one (1) caliber 38 pistol from the position of the dead body of Bernie Deniega with three (3) live ammos and one (1) caliber 357 pistol recovered from the position of the dead body of Bernardo Deniega with six (6) live ammos and three (3) empty shell of caliber 45 pistol. Also recovered one (1) caliber 45 pistol and one (1) piece of bolo measuring 22 inches including the wooden handle used by the suspects. All recovered items were now under the custody of Labason MPS station for court exhibit. Suspects are now detained at Labason MPS for filing of appropriate charges in court. The cadavers of the victims were turned-over to their immediate family for proper disposition.
