Woman and Her Children Returns Home to Find Her Husband Dead

After attending mass on August 7, a woman and her children returns home and finds her husband hanging inside their home in Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay.
The woman, named Anna Jane Carpio Y Mendoza, a resident of Upper Tungawan of the said town arrived at their home around 3:00 pm that day together with their children from church and saw her husband hanging inside their home.
Her husband, named Jorry Boy Carpio Y Sotto, 30 years old and a construction worker used a rope and tied one end on his neck and the other on a ceiling joist inside their house. Anna, upon seeing her husband hanging held Jorry’s lower body while her daughter cuts the rope. They laid Jorry in a bed while they called for help.
Albert Francisco, Brgy. Captain of the said barangay together with Jenesita Geromo Y Dela Cruz, their local midwife arrived at Carpios house but found Jorry already dead.
Tungawan police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine if there was a possible foul play in the incident.
