3rd Suspect in Aussie Kidnapping Arrested

Another suspect in the kidnapping of Australian national Richard W. Rodwell was arrested evening of August 22 in Naga town this province.
By virtue of the warrant of arrest issued in the Regional Trial Court (RTC) branch 24 in Ipil, Alkasabi Albain aka Mobin Bakwan, member of the Mamay Aburi and Reming Sabtal Criminal Groups was arrested in Barangay Baluno, said town in an operation by the combined elements of the PNP and AFP.
Albain is also involved in the kidnappings of Alexa dela Cruz, last January 2014 in Payao; Reynaldo Drapeza, November of 2010 in Kabasalan; Joel Indino, January 2011 in Ipil; and Mariecriz Cuartocruz, last December 2010 in Zamboanga City, police said.
Police records also shows that Albain is also in the watch list of personalities involved in piracy in high seas, extortion and illegal drugs in the province.
Albain is now the custody of the Provincial Police Office (PPO) of Sibugay for proper disposition. (KAVM)
