Dead Body in Plastic Bag Found in Zamboanga Highway

A dead body covered in a black plastic was found by civilians along Guiwan highway, Zamboanga City morning of August 22, police reports said.

Around 6:40 in the morning of the said date, civilians passing the establishment of Atomic Zamboanga saw what seems to be a body covered in a black plastic and immediately called the police to report.

Upon arrival, the police confirmed that it is a dead body of a man and later identified the body as Julio Marales Y Mercader, 51 years of age and a resident of Barangay Putik, said city.

Marales is a registered security guard of the Three Aces Agency.

Marales’ death according to the police was caused by multiple stab wounds in the different parts of his body.

Initial investigations found that Marales’ Honda XRM motorcycle is also missing and is believed to be the motive of the killing. (KAVM)
