Robbers strike anew

UNIDENTIFIED robbers were able to cart away August 23 cash and valuable items in Purok Greenfields, Barangay Sanito, Ipil town, this province.

Police investigators said the house of certain Ernesto Garcia, who was in Ozamis City at the time, was forcibly entered by unidentified suspects through the window.

Once inside the house, the suspects forcibly opened the door of the room occupied by Joana Erica Macalla, Krizel Garcia, and Hernan Garcia. The three are nieces and nephew of the owner.

The suspects pointed to the victims unknown calibre of handguns and declared the heist.

The suspects were able to cart away eight cellular phones, one Torque and one Samsung tablet, one laptop, and cash amounting to P7,000.

After the heist, the suspects immediately fled to unknown direction.###
