Stabbing incident left 1 dead

A stabbing incident in Barangay Maasin, Ipil town had left one dead as the police launched a manhunt against the suspect.
Police said the victim was identified as Randy Nataray, 28, and a resident of Sitio Gawaygaway, Barangay Labe, Ipil. The suspect was identified as one Magdalino Subingsubing, 37, and a resident of Purok Centro, Barangay Maasin.
Police investigation disclosed that on August 16 at around 11 in the evening Nataray was seen chasing the suspect.
According to a witness, who identified himself as Arnold Malolot, the suspect suddenly stopped and confronted the victim.
Seconds later, the victim was seen running away from the suspect.
The witness said Nataray appeared to be dizzy while running and later fell down on the road dead.
When Malolot approached the victim he found out he was already dead. The victim succumbed to a lone stabbed wound on his chest.
The suspect fled to unknown direction after the incident.
Personnel of Ipil Municipal Police Station are now conducting follow-up operation for the possible arrest of the suspect.###
